In a landmark move during President Donald Trump’s Middle East visit, Qatar Airways signed a massive $200 billion deal with Boeing to acquire 160 aircraft. The signing ceremony took place in Doha, attended by Trump and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

President Trump praised the deal, calling it a historic achievement for Boeing. According to him, Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg confirmed it as the largest jet order in the company’s history.

This agreement follows several other defence and trade deals signed during Trump’s earlier stop in Saudi Arabia. The deal is seen as part of Trump’s broader push to promote American defence and commercial exports in the Gulf region.
